The Scandinavia and the Baltic 33 days tour includes spectacular scenery, beautiful cities and some fascinating museums, buildings and historical sites.
The pace of the tour is fairly relaxed, with the itinerary very thoughtfully worked out, after six research trips to the region between 2006 and 2008.
A unique tour experience:
*The tour group size will be smaller than most tours, [12 to 20] and is personally led throughout by Trevor Wickham, the director of James Court Tours.
*The tour route takes in many of the famous places in the region and a lot more beside, including some locations that are not well known in Australia.
*The tour features quite a variety of transport modes that adds another dimension to the tour. In some cases adding extra appeal to a scenic location.
*The tour schedule is a little easier than most tours. On many days the sightseeing program does not start until 9.00am, or even later. This allows time for relaxation or some individual exploration, depending on one’s energy level.
*The tour features several multiple nights stops and a five night cruise, thereby reducing the need to constantly repack luggage!
